Executive Director

Rip Taggart became Executive Director of Techpoint Foundation in January 2005. A graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Business School, he was an IBM manager in Indianapolis before starting a local multimedia consulting business. He then served as Vice President of Product Development for Philanthropic Research, Inc., the Virginia-based not-for-profit that provides the GuideStar national database of not-for-profit organizations. In 2001-2002, Rip worked with Central Indiana Community Foundation and local business and community leaders to help launch NPower Indiana, a local membership organization that helps other not-for-profits use technology effectively.
